Talk about service, Jay. You're on the ball. Have you addressed that deal we were discussing with relaying and the metaint settings in Shoutcast?

This is where you post all of those things. Why would you need more when this one is already not very full?

You had about 8 listeners. That's the total output for all listeners combined.

Is the patch released, or will we have to wait for the next version? I tried redownloading and installing just the steamcast program itself (didn't want to lose my config) later in the day yesterday and still no luck showing on Icecast. Thank you.

0.9.72. I just noticed it since after I upgraded. Hope you can fix it soon. Listing in both is one of the great benefits of Steamcast. Thanks.

Makes perfect sense. I think in the config file it tells you it has to be different.

Yeah, I actually prefer to just run multiple instances of Steamcast. I basically just want to run Steamcast as Shoutcast's bastard pinch hitter.

I understand. It may not necessarily kick them only to have them reconnect to that server, however. Right now I have 3 on Shoutcast.com, including the Steamcast one. A lot of times when I kick someone from one server, they go straight to the next one of my servers in the playlist. It's amazing, some...

Icecast Directory Problem?

I'm not sure what this is, but I can't seem to find my Steamcast server or others' Steamcast servers on xiph.org anymore. Did they block out Steamcast or am I just being paranoid?

Is there a reason the passwords have to be different? That just seemed slightly counter-intuitive to me for whatever reason. I don't really have any use for the other password since I just try to broadcast everything the old Shoutcast way.

I can't really see any of that stuff anymore in the new version. Anyway, maybe I'm completely wrong, but I believe people with a lot of underruns create extra overhead bandwidth. The constant reconnecting creates extra requests. At any rate, it's a slot I'd rather free up for someone with a working ...

Yep, I ran into the same problem for a while. I made the passwords different and it seems to be okay now.

What happened to the feature in the last version, where you could see Avgdatarate for each listener? The ones that had over 300 had a lot of underruns, and clearly I wanted them gone. It creates server harrassment and overhead on the bandwidth. If this solution isn't a practical one, why not impleme...
