Hello
I have noticed twice now if the server has been up for a week or so it will start serving the stream faster like a 45 being played on 78.
Not sure why.
I have to kill it and restart and it's fine.

link me with your stream when this happens. I certainly see no reason why Steamcast would be the cause of that though, Steamcast is completely agnostic to format. So if it sped up it was likely due to a misconfigured or buggy source client.

I know why. Your MP3 bitrate is the same, but your sample rate is probably different. This is the only way I've made gerbils.
i.e:
64K stereo 44100hz sample != 64K stereo 22050hz sample.
I've been there with Gerbils and "Lurch"...
It does really weird stuff to NSV video when you do this too.

Did you change the bitrate of the stream while listening to your own server ?
